Below, please create a numbered list of all the materials that you will need to create your calorimeter. Keep in mind that the money tree that the science department planted last year hasn't bloomed yet, so if you ask for some titanium or a kilogram of plutonium, it's probably not going to happen.
cody
kenny
1 cardboard tube
2 aluminum foil
3 flat bottom flask
4 stand
5 rubberstop
6 paperclip
7 peanut
8 lighter
9 termometer
10 small rubber stopper w/ hole for beaker
11 scale
12 distilled water
trail 1 80% error 3977.46 J/gram
trial 2 78% error 3591.078 J/gram
Average 3784.269 J/gram
i think we had such a big percent error is cause of all the wasted energy and our tube caught fire so the amount of wasted energy increased cause there was a hole in the tube
Below, please report your results so that we can share them with the rest of the class. Include a description (or better yet...a picture!) of your design, the values you obtained, your percent error, and some breif conclusions.
